Happy New Year’s Eve! I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful 2023. I released three books, Forgotten Memories, Third Time’s the Charm, and Dashing Through the Fear. While I feel like I didn’t write as much this past year as I have in previous years, I’m still amazed I published three books! I felt like I really scaled back on my writing, but it was a refreshing thing to do. Sometimes you need to step back a little bit and take a break. My kids are getting older and more involved in activities, so it does make getting things done AND writing harder for me. So while I’m going to write as much as I can, I’m not forcing anything. I find when I force writing, nothing good comes out anyway. So, want to know what the new year will bring for me?
My plan for 2024 is to revamp an older story that I had taken off the bookshelves, hmmm, maybe over two years ago. I honestly can’t remember now. So it’s been a while. Do you remember Dark Consequences? It’s romantic suspense, and it’s one of the darker romantic suspense series I’ve written. I had actually started book 2, Cruel Consequences, and for some reason or another I stopped writing it and moved on to something else. Don’t remember what. lol Anyhoos, the good news is I’m jumping back into book 2 now! I’ll be releasing book 1, Dark Consequences exclusively on my shop, AS Books and Crafts once my editor has a peek at it while I work hard on book 2. When I get it up, you’ll be the first to know! I’ve already started on the book covers, and oh my! It makes me soooooo excited to revisit this intense series. Want to see the difference in the old cover to the new cover? It just shows how far I’ve come with my graphic design as well. One of the best and challenging parts about releasing a book is making the covers!

…in with the new!
You can expect to see Dark Consequences and Cruel Consequences coming this spring. Perhaps late spring, we’ll see how it all goes! Of course you’re getting another book in the Haunting Love series. I’m going to be writing Holstrom and Charly’s story. Expect to see their book (book two) in October for spooky season! I figured that’s a great time to release that series each year. Of course, you can always expect a Christmas story from me! I’ll be releasing book 2 in my Sleighville series in December. I even have a title for it! Here Comes Chaos! I’m having fun playing with the titles that mix with Christmas songs. So expect to see three books this year again from me! A mixture of different things.
On some other news…
Another important thing I want to share is I’ll be raising my book prices. I haven’t quite figured out my paperbacks yet, but expect a dollar or two increase. Printing costs are rising so I have no choice in that respect to raise my prices as well. Of course, if you purchase a signed paperback from me in my SHOP, that price of $20 will be remaining the same. It’ll only be rising on the retailers.
For ebooks, my prices will be going from $4.99 to $5.99. There’s two books currently on sale that will be ending tonight! Mistletoe Magic is only $.99 right now and Stolen Memories is FREE! So if you don’t want to miss those deals, I suggest you grab them now!
