It’s Christmas in July!

It’s Christmas in July! Something my oldest daughter gets so annoyed with me reminding her all the time. I even joked about putting up the Christmas tree! lol In a few short months I can, and I totally can’t wait.

To celebrate, I thought I’d put Snowed in Love on sale for $.99 for a limited time. I recently talked about how I love tortured, troubled heroes! There’s something about them that just hits me in the heart. So it seemed appropriate to pick James’ book since he’s one of my faves in that sense. I just wanna hug him tight! lol

A blizzard. A cabin. A cup of hot chocolate.

The perfect mixture to fall in love.

James Brennen is nothing but a screwup. At least, in the small town of Mulberry, that’s what everyone thinks of him. As a recovering alcoholic, he’s trying his best to turn his life around, to be a better man. All of his hard work comes crashing down when he’s fired from his job at the hospital—accused of stealing drugs. Nothing ever changes and he’s done trying to prove himself. Needing time alone, his friend’s cabin in the middle of the woods provides the perfect escape. He knows he’s found deep trouble, not only when he gets stranded during a brutal snowstorm, but that he’s stuck with the one woman he’s wanted since the first day he laid eyes on her. The passion burns bright between them, but it doesn’t matter, because as soon as Christmas is over, he’s leaving for good.

He never knew a simple gift left on his porch step would mend his wounded heart.

Hiding his dislike for the holidays isn’t easy, especially when Chief Elliot Duncan meets a woman who captures his attention with one sweet smile. Lynn Carpenter is beautiful, strong-willed, and hardworking, and he doesn’t know how to return her gift that was left on his porch by mistake. As Christmas approaches, it doesn’t take much for the holiday spirit to seep in, not when Lynn makes it so effortless with her excitement. The only thing he wants for Christmas this year is her heart. But between his meddling father and the need to take care of her, something she passionately resists, he knows it won’t be that simple. He’s up for the challenge, because losing Lynn is unacceptable.

Much love & Merry Christmas, Amanda Siegrist
