Happy Saturday, lovelies! I hope you’re having a fabulous start to Memorial weekend. It was very rainy and cold here in Connecticut, but I think the weather is finally starting to turn around today. So I’m very happy about that. Fatal Consequences released this week and the reviews are starting to pour in. I’ll be honest. I thought a dog dying (I’m sooooo sorry!) would be what people hated the most. To warn you lovely readers, I put it in the blurb. This way you knew you’d see something like that. Not that I describe the brutal act! I know when an animal dies it hits hard! I get the same way. And yet, that’s where the story led me and I’m so sorry it had to happen. But I haven’t seen it mentioned once in any review. Not once! But what I have seen is…the miscommunication. lol I forgot how much that trope can drive people nuts! Totally forgot! But again, that’s the way the story led me and I couldn’t have changed it if I wanted to. The characters control the story, not me. Sorry! If your curiosity is piqued, then check out what reviewers have been saying…
“Really enjoyed Junelle and Rider’s story. So much suspense, mystery (trying to figure out who the killer is), danger, and to many misunderstandings. Couldn’t stop reading, wanted to know what would happen next. Highly recommend.” ~ Tammy – BookBub Reviewer ★★★★★
“Amanda did well in bringing out my fustrations at Rider who needed a good shake. I felt for his loss but was annoyed at his stubbornness. I enjoyed Jason & the previous characters, their camaraderie, banter & snark. The irrational killer had me wondering why throughout.” ~ BecReadReview – BookBub Reviewer ★★★★
“This book hit hard fast. They were everything and then nothing. This is a thriller, brothers’ best childhood friend, miscommunication, stalker romance. I loved how it all plays out and the story.” ~ smhendershott – BookBub Reviewer ★★★★
“Buckle up buttercup and hold on tight for this suspenseful romantic journey. You won’t regret it. Amanda is a wonderful author and I really enjoy reading her books.” ~ awl4175klove – BookBub Reviewer ★★★★★
“Amanda Siegrist’s writing style effectively pulls the readers into the storyline, creating a dark and mysterious world that keeps readers on their toes and an unputdownable psychological thriller with a breathtaking detective mystery, second chances and forced proximity, making it a must-read.” ~ Suzana – BookBub Reviewer ★★★★★
