Mmm…Beer Roast

Are you hungry? Well, if you are, I have the perfect recipe for you. And if you’re not, get ready. Beer Roast! It’s soooo delicious. I’d never lie to you, so you know I’m telling the truth:) I recently re-released my book, Sunrise Awakening. Made a few changes to it, but nothing huge, mind you. And since you know I like to add real meals to my stories, then you probably figured out that my characters had beer roast in Sunrise Awakening. It’s a family favorite of Jake’s family…mine, too. *wink*

Let’s eat!

Beer Roast

1 roast

1 cup of ketchup

1 can of your favorite beer (You probably can use pop if you want to, but beer really makes the flavor pop.)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 onion

Pull out your crock pot and set to low. Dice the onion and mix the ketchup and brown sugar together. Place the roast into the crock pot and pour in mixture. Then, add the beer. You could probably mix the beer with the mixture before you add it to the crock pot, but I like to pour the beer right over the roast. Cook 4-5 hours on low. If it doesn’t fall apart, then turn it up high until the roast falls apart. Trust me, it’s delicious. Go make it right now!

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I put book two in the One Taste series up for pre-order.
