Happy Wednesday, lovelies! Also, happy hump day! I hope you’re having a fabulous week. My husband is on vacation right now and his parents are visiting tomorrow for a few days. My oldest daughter is starring in a play this weekend, so looking forward to seeing her shine on stage! I am working hard on edits for One Mistake Too Late. I’m also going to be putting that up for preorder soon, so keep an eye out for those links. I have the book page up and as soon as I have retailer links, I will add them! For now, you can check out the blurb!
What have you been reading lately? I’d love to know. I’m definitely a mood reader. Sometimes I want romantic suspense and then a week later I need some historical romance. It all depends on my mood. lol The past week I’ve been in a time travel romance mood. I LOVE time travel romance. I binged Peggy L. Henderson’s Second Chances Time Travel Romance Series. It was four books and the time travel aspect was about the Wild West time. So much fun! I really, really enjoyed it. She has another time travel series that I haven’t tried yet, but I’m sure I will! The first book is Come Home to Me if you want to try it out! I read on Apple Books so that’s where the link will take you. Since I was in a time traveling mood, I also recently binged a series on Netflix that had time traveling in it…romance too! Also mystery and drama and intrigue. It’s a Turkish series. Midnight at Pera Palace. Sooooo good! I need season three asap and I need Halit and Esra to get their happily ever after! Apparently it’s a real hotel too in Turkey! And now I want to stay in it as well. lol
I’ve always loved time travel reads and movies. They’re exciting and interesting on how it’ll all work out. Some day I’d love to write my own time travel romance. I think I’d probably do the Wild West if I could pick any time. There’s just something about a cowboy I love! The closest I’ve ever written a cowboy (and he’s not a cowboy lol) is Zane in Protecting You. He’s a farmer. He’s gruff and set in his ways, but when he falls in love, he falls hard. It’s an emotional enemies-to-lovers if you like that kind of read.
That’s my musings for the day! I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!
