Happy Saturday, lovelies! It’s a beautiful day here in Connecticut and we’re not sure what we want to do today. I looked up a few events going on. Sunflower field we can stroll through, a Back to the 80’s festival (which I thought sounded like fun), seeing a minor league baseball game (try something small for my son before doing a major league one), or going school clothes shopping. My oldest nixed all those ideas wanting to chill instead. lol When my youngest woke up she suggested an escape room. That got my oldest attention. So perhaps that might be on the agenda today! Sounds like fun. What plans do you have? If you have none and are looking for a fun, suspenseful read, I have you covered!
One Taste of Hope is free on Barnes and Noble. It’s so wonderful to see the love this book has been getting by Nook readers! So thank you!
Excerpt
He pressed her closer, kissing her softly. One, because he wanted to stop the slight trembles he felt coating her body after telling her someone had been in her house. Two, because he needed to stop the terror from running rampant through his veins. He still couldn’t get his heartbeat to settle down.
This was insane, the way he felt. But he was going to do what he did in any given situation: roll with it. When it came to intense situations, odd ones, or even crazy ones, the best course of action was always to go with the flow and figure the problem out afterward. Overthinking, overanalyzing, and scrutinizing a situation did nothing but give him a headache. That’s what Reese was for. Reese did the overthinking and overanalyzing. He did the impulsive things.
